2023 NECHA Tournament Announced

Keene, NH-  The Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association announced its full post-season tournament field on Sunday.  The complete tournament schedule is available HERE.

In the Colonial Conference, Central Maine Community College is the North Division Regular Season Champion and will play the winner of  UConn Blue & WPI on Saturday in the Conference Semi-Finals on Saturday in Nashua, NH.  Harvard has won the South Division’s Regular Season Title and will play the winner of Dartmouth College and Thomas College on Saturday.

In the American Conference, top seeds Bentley and Bridgewater will play Connecticut College and St. Anselm College, respectively.  The American Conference Semi-Finals are at 4:30pm and 7:10pm at Conway Arena.  Conn College defeated UConn (M2) while St. Anselm beat UMass-Lowell to earn their spots in the Semi-Finals.

In the Patriot Conference,  Northeastern University is the top seed in the East Division and will play the North Division’s #2 seed, UMass, on Friday at 8:10pm.  Northeastern and Boston College finished the regular season with identical conference records of ten wins and two losses each.  The Eagles and Huskies split their regular season series, each team winning on the other’s home ice, however Northeastern won the tiebreaker by a single goal difference in their head-to-head games.  Boston College will play Western Division Champion, Keene State, on Friday at 5:40 at Conway.

On Sunday, NECHA will crown three champions.  The Patriot Conference finals will be held at 12 noon, followed by the Colonial Conference title game at 2:40pm.  The American Conference Championsip game is slated for 5:20pm.  All semi-final and championship games will be at Conway Arena in Nashua, NH; preliminary games for the American and Colonial Conferences are held at the homes of higher seeds.
